"Breaking Point!"

Our bodies are mostly able to adapt and adjust to the demands we put on them. But years of bad postural habits, or unbalanced exercise and activity, can suddenly cause injury and pain. Sometimes our body reaches it's " breaking point"- we can't adapt and we get pain or limited range of motion, or both.
It’s natural to look for a “quick fix” when you suddenly find yourself injured and in pain. Whether the issues have arisen from a trauma, accident, or simply appeared out of nowhere; “I must have slept wrong,” “I just reached for my coffee mug,” or “all I did was pick up a piece of paper,” all you really want is to feel normal again!
But, we can slowly unwind areas of trauma or imbalance. Therapeutic bodywork, such as Craniosacral and Visceral work, help to balance the structures in the body and calm the nervous system. Pilates and mindful movement can help maintain and support areas opened after manual therapy.
A two part approach can be extremely effective when addressing issues that cause you pain and limited range of motion. Gentle manual therapy to Balance and Align, and subtle movement, such as Pilates, to help you Move !
I love connecting with people and helping them find ease in their body. I'd be honored to support you in your health journey!
